Conference Highlights

Sexuality and Autism Specturm Disorders:
Yes it exists...and yes we need to talk about it!

Presented by: Frank Cicero, Ph.D., BCBA-D, Director of Psychological Services, Eden II School for Autistic Children.
The sexuality of children and adults with autism can be difficult to discuss on many levels. Yet, it is an important aspect of their lives that deserves attention. This keynote address will provide detailed information about sexual development throughout the lifespan, issues regarding consent and common parent concerns. Dr. Cicero will discuss sexuality knowledge and sexual behaviors, both appropriate and inappropriate. Attendees will take away strategies to teach appropriate sexual behavior. Although sexuality often comes to the forefront in adolescence, this information is critical for
individuals of all ages
