In order to provide services to family members of individuals with autism and professionals in the field, Autism New Jersey, Inc. relies on the support of its members and other concerned individuals both within and outside the autism community. The diagnosis of autism is on the rise.  Financial support allows the agency to maintain, improve upon and expand its ability to meet the community's growing needs.

Other Ways to Give

Giving at Work

Payroll Deduction Programs

Sometimes it is more convenient for donors to contribute through a payroll deduction plan offered through some employers.

For private companies, these programs are sometimes administered by third parties such as United Way (Autism New Jersey's # is 014177) or America's Charities, or by companies themselves.

Public Employees can donate to Autism New Jersey via the Combined Federal Campaign, the NJ State Employees Charitable Campaign (Autism New Jersey's # is 6558) or Public Employees Charitable Campaigns (for county employees).

These plans may also allow donors to increase their level of support because the contributions are made monthly rather than in one lump sum.  Ask your employer for more details.

Matching Gifts

In addition, it is also important to consider approaching your or your spouse's employer to find out if the company can match your gift to Autism New Jersey. Some companies even make contributions that are twice as much as your individual donation!

Types of Gifts

When thinking of making a contribution, the first thought most of us have is to make a cash contribution. An outright gift of cash is always appreciated, but there are also other ways of making the most significant impact that you can: appreciated securities, real estate, closely held stock, bequests, charitable trusts, insurance, a work of art, or any other asset that carries no unusual liability.

Products or Gifts in Kind help, too.  Perhaps you have a service or business where you can donate items (e.g. tickets to events, art work, electronics or just about anything) for our fund-raising auctions, for our members or directly for Autism New Jersey (e.g. design work, printing, copying, etc.). In-kind support makes a big difference too!
